As many Medanese send their children for education in Singapore. When the school holidays season start in Singapore, you will expect these school children to return to Medan to visit their parents. Likewise, the parents of these children will also travel to Singapore to visit their children for those that have houses in Singapore. These flight traffic will affect the availability of seats and definitely the prices of air tickets for your flights.

Medan School Holidays will also affect flights from Singapore to Medan as these are the times when eager parents will take vacations with their children bringing them to Singapore and other countries. Since Medan has no direct flights to many parts of the world, Medanese have to make a transit stop in Singapore for their onward journey to other holiday destinations.
