Indonesia New Rp2000 Banknote

Bank Indonesia (BI) issued the NEW Rp 2,000 banknote 10 July 2009
Bank Indonesia decided to issue the new banknote and coin after considering people’s needs, as well as costs for making banknotes
The new Rp2000 bank note features a picture of Pangeran Antasari (Pahlawan Nasional asal Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan) a national hero of Indonesia.
