Today is 17 August 2008 which is the National Day of Indonesia or The Indonesia’s Independence Day for 63 years since 1945.
So, we want to present you with our National Anthem of Indonesia “INDONESIA RAYA”

Indonesia Flags on the Street of Medan
It is common to find people selling toys on the streets of Medan including those at the traffic lights. This time, as it is near to the national day of Indonesia, we have seen many boys and girls on the streets selling the The Flag of Indonesia.
It is expected that ALL cars MUST have a flag in the month of August leading to the Independence Day on 17 August to show their love for our country. That is why you are seeing the flags being sold on the streets to drivers passing by the traffic lights.
Dont be alarmed to see these sellers hogging at your car window when you stop at a traffic light.
