The moment we stepped off the lift and walked into this luxurious city spa, Spa Director, Ms Ary greeted us with a welcoming smile, who then settled us into a comfortable sofa. An intricately folded chilled–but-not-iced scented towel and a glass of in-house special herb drinks were then served, as we began our relaxing spa journey.
The spa concept is one of relaxation and pampering with the aim to restore personal energy and vitality.
Delivering total well-being and renewal of body and soul, Quan Spa has 5 treatment rooms that offer cutting edge facilities. Guests will be spoilt for choice, an array of Asian and Western spa rituals, herbal body wraps, facials and relaxing massages help guests revitalize their senses, harmonize body and spirit, and relieve stress, with the sole purpose of bringing equilibrium back to the hassled life.
Couple Treatment Room
Quan Spa at the JW Marriott Medan uses a wide range of revolutionary spa products including the world’s leading face, body care line, “Pevonia Botanica”. Quan Spa is first Indonesian Spa using Pevonia. Pevonia is a 100 percent natural product which fits with our Quan Spa treatments concepts. Pevonia also a well-known international spa product that has become the favorite of many “International Hollywood Artists” such as “Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta Jones and Melanie Griffith.
The products are customized for individual skin type, using the finest marine and botanical ingredients that are designed uniquely for females and males. Our treatment, ‘Embrace Escape’, design especially for couples, began with a luscious full body exfoliation where our bodies were stroked and cleansed with the Pevonia Body Polish for the ladies and Kemiri Body Scrub from Jamu, Bali for the guys

This royal treatment, continued in our special Romance Bath using romance Sea Salt from jamu product, a journey towards relaxation in the privacy of our chic treatment room. Warm tea was placed elegantly for us to enjoy while we immersed in the bath for 30 minutes.
Skin resilient and refreshed, we succumbed to our attentive masseuse’s gliding hands. For the ladies, an Aroma Fusion massage using Day Blend massage oil (Lemon, Lemongrass, Neroli, Sandalwood essential oil) was applied that nudged every tired muscle towards relief and relaxation. As for the guys, Indo Fusion Massage Using Jasmine massage oil, was pre select to massage individual further into a world of calm.
Hours later, as we oozed back to the reality of life that had brought us to Quan Spa, we knew we had found a luxurious sanctum where our needs were anticipated, met and surpassed.

Yes Zoe, the spa is managed by the same Quan Spa. Although the designs and spa treatments may be different.
