Tai Hwa a very popular restaurant serving local Seafood dishes in Medan has now opened a new branch at Jln Kol. Sugiono also known as Jalan Wajir as New Tai Hwa.

Here, you can enjoy simple yet delicious Seafood and Chinese dishes in an open air environment at reasonable price. However, no pork is served here. The main popular dishes are seafood dishes. Here are several of the popular dishes prepared and recommended by the chef.
Udang Saus Tai Hwa (Prawns in Tai Hwa sauce) ; Ayam Goreng Tai Hwa (Fried Chicken Tai Hwa)
Cumi Cumi Asin Pedas (Squid Salty & Spicy) ; Kailan 2 Rasa (Kailan Vegetables 2 Tastes)
The Salty & Spicy Squid is a must have dish at New Tai Hwa which is as good as those you find in Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong, if not better

Through your recommendations, I brought several friends to try out Tai Hwa and ordered the dishes as you wrote here but they run out of the Squid you recommended. The bill came out to be Rp125.000 with drinks. Good value.
