Since the previous fire break out at the domestic terminal at Medan Polonia Airport. Visiting Medan from all parts of Indonesia has been a chaotic experience at the airport unless you were taking Garuda Indonesia and Lion Air who were able to allow passengers to use the International Terminal.
Finally, phase one of the refurbishments have been completed and that all airlines are able to use the domestic terminal now.
However, from our information, Garuda Airline and Lion Air are still using the international terminal for now until further notice.
So remember do not go to the wrong terminal for pick up or departure.
