JW Marriott Hotel to open in Medan Indonesia by 2008
Situated near the three plazas of Sinar Menara Deli Plaza, Marriott Medan will be opening soon along with many other 5 stars hotel in 2008. Here is a recent picture taken today as they have completed their 26 stories building. It will be a new icon of Medan and we are more than excited to have such high class hotel in Medan.
Medan’s hotel occupancy rate has been full since the Indonesian tsunami that struck Aceh and North Sumatra. The best hotel in Medan right now is Grand Angkasa but quality is still not to par with international standard hotels.
Other hotels opening soon in Medan is the Aryaduta Hotel managed by the Grand Hyatt located at the Grand Palladium shopping complex due to open this year.
Next to Aryaduta Hotel is Aston Medan Hotel under construction. Several hundred meters away is another building Crystal Square rumoured to be buildng hotels too.
Nearby is Swiss Bel Hotel in Cambridge Mall and Condominiums. Visitors to Medan in the coming years will be spoiled for choice in choosing which hotels to stay.
As for locals in Medan, we look forward to fine dining offered by these newly built international standard hotels. They usually offer great choice of restaurants and buffets.
