The Online World Unite to Fight Against Terrorism

Since the terrorist attacks with suicide bombings to 2 luxury hotels JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton Hotels in Jakarta, the online community has united to show their support to fight against terrorism especially Indonesians.

By using Twitter, everyone has united by twittering the word #indonesiaunite with their comments to pass on their support with their personal messages.

As you can see from the image below, #indonesiaunite has become the TOP TRENDING TOPICS in Twitter. At the time of this post, it is the No.1 Trending Topics in Twitter surpassing popular international tweets like James Bond, Michael Jackson etc. Within 2 minutes of searching, over 2026 new tweets has been published by supporters and the tweets continue to increase. That’s over 1000 tweets per minute!
