Will Medan win the next Indonesian Idol?
Over 7.000 contestants from Medan are auditioning for the next Indonesian Idol. Seen here in the photo are the contestants in Medan waiting for their audition in Griya Dome Convention Center in Medan since Sunday 3 February 2008 for 2 days till Monday 04 February where 300 contestants will be chosen for next round.
Mostly in their teens and twenties, these Medan youngsters are keen to become the next Indonesian Idol and a shot to fame and stardom. Of course, it wouldnt be easy to sort through a huge crowd like this, even difficult to find the legendary “William Hung” of the American Idol!

and dont forget even “the worst singer in American Idol” (as some Americans put it) has a chance to make his own MTV, a record deal, fame and wealth! as seen below…
