Happy Mother’s Day

DECEMBER 22, has been named as a Mother’s Day and remind remind all the people of Indonesia, especially young people, that how great the services of female fighters raise the dignity of women to fight for unity, unity, and independence. The nature of Mother’s Day in Indonesia is Indonesia nationalism womanhood.

Actually there are two holidays that focus on the role of women, which is Mother’s Day is celebrated on December 22 and Kartini Day April 21. Two celebrations showed how the state awards on the role and function of women in Indonesia. Could be interpreted as an effort to equalize between the role of men as women in all fields.

Kartini Day, in fact an attempt to remind to all Indonesian people, that efforts to promoting the equality of roles, avoiding the subordination of women’s styles, as well as the gap between women and men in Indonesia, has been championed by Kartini.This awareness has emerged in developing countries like Indonesia. That is able to compete with Western values, which is precisely when it colonized Indonesia. Then there is the understanding of men and women that actually have value equation.

In the context of Mother’s Day, there is actually a slightly different position with Kartini Day. Mother is a social component that has the connotation of a party that gave birth, which makes the community exists. However, not in the context kemonopolian.This is where the importance of linking between Kartini Day with Mother’s Day. Maternal clearly as a nanny but certainly not monopolize care. He also requires equality of roles. A father should be also a caregiver, and must be understood by a man.
