JAKARTA, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian hospitals are now treating 52 people who are positively infected A/H1N1 virus, including 3 foreigners, Indonesian Health Minister Siti Fadilah Supari said here on Thursday.

The health minister told a press conference here that among the 52 patients, there are cases of human-to-human virus transmission.

"We learned that 12 of those patients were resulted from human to human virus transmission within a month," she was quoted by the detik.com as saying.

To avoid the possibility from being infected by the A H1N1 virus, the health minister called on the public to exercise healthy and clean living.

Siti said that A/H1N1 flu is a curable disease. She, however, said that government would continue screening people who had just arrived from traveling abroad.

Government will also use the Tamiflu tablet to heal A/H1N1 patients in the country, she added.

The Health Ministry said Tuesday eight more individuals were suspected of having the H1N1 strain of flu.

This brings to 28 the total number of people in the country with suspected or confirmed cases of the deadly flu variant, the ministry said in a statement.

One of the eight new H1N1 suspects is being treated at Sanglah General Hospital in Denpasar, Bali, while two are at Jakarta's Sulianti Saroso Hospital and three are at Medan’s H. Adam Malik Hospital.

The ministry said two others had just returned from countries with H1N1pandemic status

Erm..Good job by the Authority at Polonia Airport on the prevention and precaution.Keep it up.
Becos of H1N1,I will have to cancel my trip to Medan for a wedding dinner.Though sad,I have to sacrifice this time, becos I am from one of the country that has got some reported cases.Someone from my country import it from the another country.I hope what I do not like to come to me ,also do not go to others. So until my country is free from it ,Medan friends.,I will have to miss you all for the time being.
Luckily got Medan Ku ,to keep me updated.....visiting here is just like visiting my Medan.Sleep well, take care of personal hygiene, wash your hand.....hope to visit you all soon.
