“The Pride of Sumatra” as declared by The Governor of North Sumatra H. Syamsul Arifin during the opening ceremony. General Manager, Mr Joe Masi estimated the total investment to be well over US$ 60 millions.
The new JW Marriott Medan is also proudly known to be “one of the finest JW Marriott in the world” announced Geoff Garside – Executive Vice President JW Marriott International and Ralph L. Boyce – Ambassador of United States for Indonesia.

My only complain is that there are NO SMOKING rooms available at the hotel! All rooms are non-smoking rooms. Otherwise the room is best in Medan
I prefer JW Marriott to Aryaduta and Swiss Bel, the rooms are bigger and at $69, an absolute bargain for a luxurious stay in Medan

The bathroom has a very good view of Medan like The Ritz in Singapore

i’ll be going to JW marriot medan this weekend with my husband..just bought the air tickets just now…it sure is a beautiful pool view… im still thinking where can we go for a fine dinner though..
