Free Internet Wifi Access Medan

When traveling to Medan, I am sure you will want to get connected to get in touch with your families or work.
There are now many places in Medan that offers Free wi-fi internet access during lunch hours in cafes and restaurants.
Here are a few I know of:
- Sun Plaza food court – all day
- Sushi Tei Japanese Restaurant – Lunch
- The Traders Cafe – all day
- Spaggedies Italian Pizza- all day
- Bel Mondo Cafe
- Koki Sunda Indonesian & Thai food
- Pho Depot – Jl. S Parman
- Famous Cafe – Jl. S Parman
- Metador Country Jl. Merak Jingga & Plaza Medan Fair
- J. Co Donut – Sun Plaza
- Lembur Kuring Indonsian Restaurant Jl. Amir Hamzah
- Mie Tiong Sim – Grand Palladium Mall
- City Ice Cream & Cafe – Grand Palladium Mall
- Karaoke Keluarga – Kompleks Multatuli
If you do not have a laptop with you, then you will have to go to Internet Cafes (not Free but its cheap, less than Rp5000/hour). There are several around:
- Kampung Keling area – Little India of Medan (near to Sun Plaza),
- Sparman area (there is one new one called “Orange” with 19″ LCDs and 22″ LCD in VIP room)
- Wahidin area (near to Thamrin Plaza)
- USU area (University of North Sumatra)
- Polonia area – Kompleks Multatuli
