Deli Grand City The Super Block In Medan
The First in Indonesia, the Largest in Medan
An innovative hybrid concepts of a modern retail center, at the most prospective business and commerce area of Medan City, the gateway of Western Indonesia, the third largest city after Jakarta and Surabaya.
Deli Grand City right opposite of the new JW Marriott Medan Hotel, will be built in 5.2 Ha of land occupied by the previous three malls of Sinar Plaza, Menara Plaza and Deli Plaza also known as Sinar Menara Deli.
Sinar Menara Deli was one of the most popular mall in Medan, the largest 3 malls connected to one another, before the new Sun Plaza and Plaza Medan Fair was completed.

Right in the heart of Medan The Deli Grand City will consists of:
- Deli Grand City Super Mall
- Sky Garden Condominium
- Office Park
- Convention Center
- International Chain Hotel
The Deli Grand City is set to become the No.1 Superblock of Kota Medan, the new icon of Medan, the landmark and destination of Medan City. Standing above the mall will be the Three Towers of Prestigious Condominium, One Office Tower and One International Chain Hotel (not disclosed yet).

The project was announced sometime last year, it has only been confirmed that the project will be built in conjunction with Ivory Properties of Penang – Malaysia during the Penang – Medan Business Gathering by Indonesia China Business Council at Tiara Convention Hall Medan on Friday, 27 March 2009 with Minister of Penang Mr Lim Guan Eng.
So hopefully, we will see a new mall soon.

The Sky garden will look pretty cool and exciting!

Looks like Medan is going to be a fabulous place to stay and shop
Which international hotel chain?
If you are thinking of buying a condo from Deli Grand City, think again!
The developer still owes many people money including previous tenants. Dont pay up too quickly and make sure they have a confirmed date of project completion.
Hi Mr. Victor,
How are you? Hope you are fine.
You owe me a trip to Medan.
I wish to see all dramastic changes in Medan since 2003.
I really can’t believe Medan has changed so much.
If I visit to Medan, don’t forget to bring me to Lake Toba and Bali too. In addition, I wish to go to Jakarta to have a visit.

I think besides Penang, Kepong of Kuala Lumpur is a nice place to stay too.
Come to Kepong and I will bring you to have a tour to KL.
Welcome to Malaysia and remember to visit me.
We have been 5 years not meet.
I still remember you in my mind.
Wish to see you soon.

many rumors about the project not having enough money to build
Deli Grand City has got a blessing from Governor and The Chief Minister of Penang for its further constructions. Medan people should be proud of this event, think positive and be encouraged that DGC will uplift the status of Medan city to a Metropolitan level.
DGC has just held its premier exhibition for its The Sky Garden Condominium recently….wow..so much interest of buyers.
Anybody who is interested in knowing more about DGC, please contact our office at +(62)(61)4535999.
that’s too bad, looks very impressive for Medan
Many tenants big and small, all not received compensations for their kiosk at Sinar Plaza and Menara Plaza and the developer just tear down the place!
If they have no money to pay the current tenants, how do they have money to build the big project.
Nobody dare to buy the kiosks or apartments if they are not sure if they have the money to finish the project. Just ask any shop owner and you will know the truth
i am really happy coz medan now has changes and ready so many hotel…… not like before and also will gv chance vacancy to the people…..

Just wonder if they are going to demolish the remaining “deli plaza” or they are going to build on top of it?
The plan was:
Phase 1, to demolish Sinar & Menara Plaza plus the offices (RUKO) to build new buildings, then
Phase 2 to demolish the current Deli Plaza to rebuild another building that connects.
