Spicy Rojak Chicken “Ayam Petis” Menu from Surabaya to Medan
“Petis” means “Rojak Sauce” in Bahasa Jawa (language) and this is exactly what the menu is, fried chicken with rojak sauce. Serve with rice and vegetables, tofu and tempe, with a touch of sweet and spicy taste to it.
Ayam Petis is actually a newcomer in town as it actually originates from Surabaya just like we have Soto Medan as a type of typical Medan food, Ayam Petis is a typical Surabaya dish.
